Glen's romance with the mountains began during childhood vacations from his home in Nebraska to the heart of the Rockies in Colorado and Montana. Crisp air and sweeping vistas captured his imagination and pulled on him until in 1987 he chose to move to Fort Collins, Colorado to study art . His discovery of mountain biking drew him inexorably into the intimate embrace of the wilderness. Because of this his mission soon became to bring the majesty and connectivity of these places to the broader world through his art. Dreamlike in color and unmistakably romantic due to their lack of roads and man made structures, his landscapes speak to humanity’s deep and undeniable connection to this earth. In 2000 he relocated to southwest Colorado where he continues to immerse himself in the glory of the San Juan Mountains and deserts of the four corners area.
