Fenceline Cider Partners with Colorado’s Culture Beverage

Specializing in terroir-based cider, beer, and mead, Culture Beverage is dedicated to helping Coloradans learn more about fermentation and drinking cultures from around the world.

Fenceline Cider is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Front Range beverage distributor, Culture Beverage. This new partnership makes Fenceline Ciders available from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins — while Fenceline will be Culture Beverage’s only Colorado Cider brand.

“I’m excited about working with Culture Beverage because of their passion and understanding of place-based ciders,” says Sam Perry, Fenceline co-founder. “At Fenceline we hand pick the majority of our apples from family farms here in Colorado. It takes time, but it gives us a distinct flavor unique to the Colorado Plateau. It’s really a labor of love and Xandy and Lauren understand that labor and love. They know that Colorado cider is so much more than just a gluten free alternative to beer. We’re excited for Culture Beverage’s connections in Denver to help Fenceline connect with restaurants, retailers, and new customers on the Front Range who share our passion for high-quality libations and mission of supporting Colorado agriculture.”

“We are so excited to be working for Fenceline, their dedication to quality, terroir, and sustainability is everything we were looking for in a Colorado cidery. We are so lucky to be bringing their ciders to the Front Range,” says Culture General Manager, Xandy Bustamante.

Colorado’s premier distributor of terroir driven beers, ciders, and meads — winning the American Cider Association’s Best Distributor in the Mountain West last year — Culture Beverage represents some of the world’s most renowned and sought after breweries and cideries, and is dedicated to helping customers and all Coloradans learn more about fermentation and drinking cultures from around the world. Fenceline Cider will be distributed alongside other cider favorites like Farnum Hill Cider and Oliver’s Cider & Perry.

“One of my goals for Fenceline Cider has been to create an export from the Mancos Valley that will help improve our local economy,” says Perry. “Loading up pallets of cider for Culture Beverage, I was reminded of a conversation I had with an orchard owner, Pete, when I first moved to Mancos. Pete and I were standing out in the orchard looking at the old trees and I asked him if he ever sold his apples. He replied that back in the 40’s and 50’s he and the family used to pick them into boxes, load them in the back of the truck and drive them to Denver. In Denver the apples could be sold for enough to pay for the trip and allow Pete to buy a new piece of equipment for the farm. I feel like my vision of bringing new life to these historic and wild orchards is coming to fruition — thanks to all the hard work and creativity of our team — and our partnership with Culture Beverage is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for Fenceline and our community.”
